Chapter 22: "Finally We Can Start With My Plan"

David managed to find us a gun, but we still needed one more. I decided to let him focus on that task while I attended to my own responsibilities. After ending the call with David, I dialed Eman\'s number.

"Eman, come to Ipoz at 6pm, and bring Darjan with you, oh and Hamza too." I instructed.

"Why just us?" Eman questioned.

"Because I said so,"

Once the call ended, my father arrived home from work. His face filled me with disgust. He didn\'t bother greeting me, heading straight to the kitchen to make coffee without uttering a word. Eventually while sitting in the living room, he called out to me.

"Dionis, come sit here with me," he said in a sentimental tone.

"No, leave me alone!" I shouted from my room, not interested in engaging with him.

"Please, Dionis," he pleaded, his voice filled with unimaginable pain.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I reluctantly obliged. I joined him on the couch, and we sat in complete silence for what felt like an eternity.

...

...

"I\'m sorry, Dionis," he finally spoke, holding his cup firmly.

"Huh? What did you just say?" I was taken aback by his words.

"I said I\'m sorry. I spent the whole night awake, thinking about what I\'ve done. Do you have the heart to forgive me, Dionis?"

After a brief pause, I managed to utter the following words: "I forgive you. As long as I\'m under your roof I\'ll always forgive you, I don\'t have any other choice." I responded, telling my perspective on this situation.

"I don\'t know if i should be happy or sad by your response but thank you, son," he said softly, his gaze fixed on his coffee cup as he rubbed it softly. A mix of happiness and sadness filled his expression, reflecting the complex emotions he carried.

He began to cry, his tears falling onto his coffee cup and without a second thought, I swiftly exited the room, entering my room. I couldn\'t be bothered to babysit my father. Most children would feel sadness or empathy upon seeing their father in tears, but I felt nothing.

With 6pm approaching, I put on a jacket and left the house. But this time nobody asked me where I was going. Eman, Darjan, and Hamza were already waiting for me at that abandoned shit hole.

"Yo guys, did you wait long for me?" I asked, walking through the junk filled floor.

"Nah, Dionis, we only got here about five minutes ago," Eman replied.

"Good."

"So, Boss, why did you call us here?" Hamza inquired.

"It\'s time for us to expand," I informed them.

"What? How are we going to do that?" He seemed puzzled.

"Simple. We\'re going to spread the name of our organization across Trbovlje with the help of our boys,"

"Wouldn\'t that bring more problems for us?" Darjan raised a valid concern.

"Of course, the police will eventually learn about us, but they would never suspect a group of teenagers. Even if they did, I\'ve made sure not to leave any traces behind," I assured them.

"But, Dionis, you know that detectives would eventually catch up with us. Even Pablo fucking Escobar got caught," Eman pointed out.

"You\'re absolutely right. Eventually, detectives might come after us, but for now, we\'re not significant enough to be their priority. Trust me, only regular police officers will be attempting to bust us, and the chances of that happening are very low," I explained.

"Damn, you\'re probably right, Boss," Hamza acknowledged. He was as dumb as his big brother Eman.

After our discussion, I headed straight home. My mother and father appeared downcast, and my brother was absent. We sat down for dinner, the silence between us unbroken. Once we finished eating, I retreated to my room, glancing at my phone. There was a message from Borce.

"Yo, Dionis, big man, let\'s hang out tomorrow. I\'ve met these guys, Eman and his younger brother, Hamza. They seem to be some kind of gangsters or something," the message read.

"How do you know them?" i was confused to how Borce a fat social outcast knows about them.

"Oh I started hanging out with them, and they seem cool as fuck bro. they are popular, everyone knows them in Trbovlje. maybe I could become popular like them."

"Ah maybe you\'ll even get a bitch on your dick hahaha" I jested.

"Don\'t act like you\'ve ever had a girlfriend, Dionis," Borce retorted.

"Fuck you bro I don\'t need girls in my life I have bigger problems," I dismissed him.

"Like what? Jerking off to hentai?"

"Borce let\'s be real here, it\'s not like you don\'t either,"

"hahaahah i do"

"hahaha"

After a while I ended the conversation. Putting the phone down, I turned off the lights and went to sleep without saying good night to my parents.

Morning came, and we meet up in K5. Eman and Hamza appeared surprised to see me there but pretended not to recognize me.

We settled into our seats, placed our orders, and engaged in conversation. However, after a while, I grew bored, and the heaven-sent moment presented itself when a group of three girls entered the restaurant.

Her friends were mediocre but her, wow she was beautiful. The girls chose a seat far from our table, so I seized the opportunity, leaving Borce and the others behind.

"Dionis where you going?" Borce asked.

"Just watch and learn." I replied confidently, striding towards the group of girls.

As I reached them, I grabbed a chair from another table and placed it at their table. The girls stared at me with a mix of confusion and unease.

"Hello" i greeted the beautiful girl as I sat down.

"Um, hi," she responded coldly.

"what\'s your name." i asked

"Eva"

"Well, Eva, I couldn\'t resist approaching you to convey that you possess an ethereal beauty, much like an angel," I complimented her.

"Oh, thank you," she replied, a subtle smile appearing on her face.

Then her fat pig of a friend interfered, hurling insults at me. "Hey there, little boy! She\'s not interested. Now, shoo! Shoo!" she waved her hands dismissively, treating me as if I were a child.

"Excuse me, but I was addressing Eva, not you," I responded with composure.

"I don\'t care. She\'s an independent queen who doesn\'t need you, boy," she retorted.

My eyes twitched out of her stupidity, "Tsk man, shut your pig looking ass up before i smack the living shit out of you. Just because nobody wants your ugly ass, doesn\'t give you the right to reject offers on behalf of other girls," i shitted on her, relieving my anger.

Her fat face got red, and she began screaming insult after insult at me, but I paid her no attention. Before departing, I turned to Eva and made a final request.

"Give me your phone number Eva."

"Hah, you sure have big balls little boy. After insulting my friends like that you expect me to give you my phone number?" she asked, her eyes piercing into mine.

"Yea, why not?" I responded nonchalantly.

"Hahahaha," Eva chuckled softly. "Here," she wrote her phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to me.

I laughed and made my way back to my table.

"Yo, Dionis, did you get her phone number?" Borce inquired eagerly.

"Fuck yea, I never fail man" I boasted.

Excitement filled the air as they asked questions on how I got the phone number of such a goddess, but my phone interrupted the jovial atmosphere. David was calling.

"Hello? What do you want, David? I\'m busy right now" I answered, standing up from my seat and going to the bathroom.

"Apologies, Boss, but I\'ve found someone who can sell us a gun," David informed me.

"What!? That\'s fucking great news!" I exclaimed.

"yea"

"Who the hell is selling it tho?"

"Another old man who is a veteran, but he fought in the Kosovo war." David revealed.

"Fucking hell so many wars happened here in the Balkans, but nevertheless good fucking job David. Go to his house and buy it immediately." I instructed.

"I don\'t have the money boss."

"How much does he want?" I asked while pissing.

"$500"

"Ok that\'s not a problem. Come to K5 in about 15 minutes, i\'ll give you the money there" i said before hanging up.

Putting the phone in my pocket, I washed my hands and left the bathroom.

Going back to our table i informed Borce and the boys that I would return within ten minutes and hastily made my way home. I sprinted up hill to my block, finally I arrived exhausted, I retrieved the required funds and rushed back to K5. Along the way, I pondered why my mother didn\'t question where I was going this time, but the thought quickly dissipated.

David awaited me at the entrance. I pulled the 500$ from my wallet and handed it over. Before he left I urged him to complete the transaction as fast as possible.

Returning to the restaurant, Borce looked puzzled, questioning why I had left. I simply replied, "I needed to attend to something," leaving him curious but without further explanation.

Eman and Hamza knew something happened but didn\'t know what. Then I said something that made Eman realize: "Finally we can start with my plan"

"Huh?? what plan?" both Borce and Hamza were confused but Eman knew what I meant.
