Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 219 - 219 Dreams Into Reality

Aiden stared at the capsule that was in his hand for a few seconds before moving his gaze to Devon and Bane.

With then a nod of the head from the three of them, they swallowed the capsule immediately.

Once the capsule went into their belly, Aiden, Devon, and Bane expected a screen of some sort to appear in front of them, but as none came up even after a few seconds, they moved their gaze to Raphael.

“Raph-” Before Aiden finish his words, his body suddenly trembled violently.

He glanced at Devon and Bane, and seeing both of them trembling as though they were experiencing a seizure, he gritted his teeth.

“Is this supposed to happen?” Becky couldn’t help but ask.

And responding to Becky, Melinda, and Elisa shook their heads simultaneously, before Melinda said, “I don’t think so.”

Before Raphael handed them the capsule, he had explained a few things to the three of them, and there was no mention of either of them experiencing any pain from the capsule.

.....

However, seeing the bitter expression on Devon, Aiden, and Devon as they trembled violently, they couldn’t help but a puzzled expression on the lady’s faces.

“Argh!”

As one of them let out a scream, Elisa turned towards Raphael, as if expecting an answer from him.

Upon Elisa’s stare, Raphael said nothing. He glanced at her briefly, before then moving his gaze to Devon, Aiden, and Bane.

“They will be fine,” Elisa suddenly said.

It was almost as if Elisa had spoken those words into existence, as right after she spoke, the three who were previously trembled stopped instantly.

There was still a bitter expression on their faces, and while they stood in front of them, the three of them attention seemed to be somewhere else.

The silence in the surrounding was comparable to that of a graveyard, as no one, not even Becky uttered a single word.

Everyone’s eyes were simply glued to Devon, Aiden, and Bane

Suddenly, Devon’s lips curl into a smile, and as his mouth widen, there was excitement written all over his face.

Not so long after Devon’s conduct changed, the same also happened to Bane and Aiden. Aiden jumped like a child who had just received his Christmas present, while Bane burst into laughter.

“Hahaha!!”

“He… He did it!!!!” Bane exclaimed as he gripped Aiden’s body gently.

A smile couldn’t help but appear on Elisa, Melinda, and Becky’s faces as they watched the three in front of their display how excited they were.

And as Melinda’s eyes came in contact with the ants on Bane’s shoulder, her eyebrows furrowed. She rubbed her eyes, in disbelief, at what she was witnessing.

“Is it just me, or am I seeing ants dancing salsa with one another,” Melinda said.

She soon pointed her hand at the ants on Bane’s shoulder, and as the others saw the ants dancing what seemed to be salsa, but in a much more weird way, they stared at Bane and then chuckled.

“Thank you so much, Raphael!”

“This… is amazing Raphael… Thank you.”

“You’re the goat, Raphael.”

(Goat – Greatest Of All Time)

Once the initialization process was completed, Aiden, Devon, and Bane leaped toward Raphael.

There was joy written all over their faces, and if it weren’t for Raphael glaring at them, one of them would have pulled him into a hug.

“Come over here, you have earned a hug from yours truly.” Bane clearly didn’t receive the message, and he was about to hug Raphael.

However, the hug was eluded very quickly by Raphael. He glared at Bane, “There won’t be a need for that.”

“It was a business transaction, I simply delivered what you paid for,” Raphael added.

The smile never left Devon, Aiden, and Bane’s faces, and even though they could hear the sound in their head, they still found it hard to believe.

Raphael had after all just turned their dreams into a reality.

“Are you there?” Aiden suddenly spoke.

A second after he spoke, a blue screen that was visible to only him appeared. With then a smile on his face widened, Aiden requested for his stats.

“This is amazing, the stats are all accurate! What the hell! It even seems like the system knows me better than I know myself.” Aiden blurted, as he read through his stats.

As Aiden began to speak to the system, Devon, and Bane also spoke to the voice in their head.

Although Becky, Melinda, and Elisa were yet to fully comprehend the system, because of their lack of knowledge of it, they had gained a little from what Raphael made mention of earlier.

And it was mind-blowing that a capsule of that size was capable of such a spectacle.

“That’s going to be all, enjoy.” Said, Raphael.

Raphael was about to leave the engineering lab when his eyes came in contact with Aurora. There was a slight pause, but as Aurora moved her gaze from him, he turned as well.

None of the people in the room had witnessed the small display between the both of them, but as Raphael was about to leave the lab, Aiden spoke.

“Once again, thank you, Raphael, and you too Gus. This really means a lot to the three of us.” Aiden paused, “I know you said this was a business transaction, but we are forever indebted to you.”

“Yes, Raphael.”

Devon and Bane nodded their head simultaneously, agreeing to what had just been said.

After Aiden’s words, Gus, who was quiet the entire time suddenly let out a snort. The snort was soon followed by a hiss, and as Raphael heard Gus, he spoke.

“There’s one last thing you need to know about the system, it will be due for update every eight months.”

“Enjoy.”

Aiden, Devon, and Bane were left dumbfounded, they stared at Raphael completely startled at what he had just said, and before they could speak, he left the room.

The there of them glanced at one another: “I doubt the update would cost anything, and besides eight months is still very far.”

“So, we might as well enjoy ourselves.” It was Bane that spoke.

With that said, and they continued to communicate with the voice in their head.
