Elliot’s eyes brightened in happiness after he read the messages.
Magic coins are the main currency of the magician community.
Elliot can use them to not only purchase common stuff like food, clothes, necessities, and so on, but also all sorts of things that would strengthen him, such as evolution materials, pills, and a lot of other stuff.
“My hard work hasn’t simply gone down the drain.” He said, feeling happiness bubbling up in his heart.
He has earned 220 Magic Coins for the things he did so far!
Of course, he was glad.
Elliot continued on his way after reading the messages.
He was walking on the stone-paved path.
It connected to every building of the Emerald Mountain.
It also led to his destination that happens to be the boy’s dormitory, a place he wanted to reach as fast as possible.
So he began sprinting towards that place.
He was looking forward to seeing the wonders of God’s eyes of wisdom and also understand what the Shard of God’s Tower First Floor Key was all about.
However, he wanted to reach a safe and vacant place before taking them out of the spatial bracelet.
A few minutes later, once he entered and roamed around the hallways, looking for his assigned dorm room no.27, and came across it, he used the key to unlock it and immediately entered the room.
“Finally here.”
The exterior of the room wasn’t too impressive nor too simple. There were two beds in the room, each on opposite ends of the wall. Except for the beds, the room came equipped with an air conditioner, a cupboard to store clothes, a connecting bathroom, and a shoe stand.
Elliot closed shut the door before moving towards the bed and sitting down on it.
Then he took the important stuff out of his spatial bracelet, a golden eyeball, and a middle part of a black key.
He gazed at them with a look of bewilderment, wondering what they do.
“Hope, can you tell me what this key is about?” He asked in his mind.
It didn’t take more than a moment before a notification popped up in his mind.
<Item name: God’s Tower First Floor Key (Middle Shard)>
<Type: Material>
<Description: The middle part of the God’s Tower Challenger key>
“Um, is that all?” Elliot asked in his mind, twirling the key the size of his size in between his fingers.
A new golden line appeared on the black screen.
<It’s the main component needed to create the Challenger Key>
Elliot read it with subtle interest.
“What’s the Challenger Key?” He asked in anticipation.
<It’s a key that will teleport you to the first floor of the God’s Tower>
“Tell me more about God’s tower.” He asked with narrowed eyes and a slight smile.
<It’s a place where you, the Champion of the Northern Duke of Dark Starlight, will participate in trials of the ancients. Completing the trials will help you obtain treasures and things one can’t imagine>
He felt that God’s Tower would contain secrets beyond his and any other human comprehension, and that just went to excite him even more.
His blood and bones tingled in anticipation, making him feel the need to enter and explore the First Floor of God’s Tower at all cost and as fast as possible.
“What else do I need to complete the Challenger Key?”
<You’ll need to earn the lower and upper shards to complete the Challenger Key>
“I understand.” Elliot nodded, knowing full well that he needed to complete trials issued by the artifact to collect the remaining pieces of the Challenger Key.
“Tell me the properties of this eye too,” he said, looking at God’s eye of wisdom.
It was golden and solid, almost like a round piece of gold.
Yet, it was far from being a metal found on Earth and other mortals’ plane.
There were a lot of golden and silver lines inscribed all over it, connecting at different places.
The lines seemed like something mystical, a magical symbol of some sort, and made the Eye appear extraordinary.
<Item name: God’s Eye of Wisdom>
<Type: Evolution material>
<Description: A divine evolution material. You can merge it with your right eye, evolving it to God’s Right Eye of Wisdom, gaining the ability to see through all that exists in existence>
Elliot gulped his saliva as he read the description of the divine eyeball in his hand.
“Any risk?”
<The Champion won’t feel even an ounce of pain while merging with it>
“How do I merge with it?” Elliot asked, a look of anticipation on his face.
<Just position it next to your right eye>
Following Hope’s instructor, Elliot raised his hand, position the eyeball in front of his right eye, and then all of a sudden, golden threads shaped like tiny tentacles stretched out from the eyeball, wiggling their way towards his eye before making their way inside of it.
<The Champion right eye has entered a divine evolution process>
<1%… 14%… 50%… 99%… 100%>
It took several seconds for God’s Eye of Wisdom to merge with his right eye.
Elliot didn’t feel any pain during the evolution process.
He only felt warmness smoothing his eye.
<The Evolution process of your right eye is completed>
<Your right eye has evolved to God’s Eye of Wisdom>
<Your race has evolved to Semi-God and Demi-Human>
<The Champion can determine the strength of any being as long as you look at them with the intent of seeing it. You can also determine the properties of any item, be it a never-before-seen treasure or a newly invented mystical pill>
“Just as awesome as I thought it to be,” Elliot muttered, feeling he could do a lot of things with this eye.
He could use it in numerous ways!
He could even use it to become the richest being in the universe!
“Hahahahahah!”
While Elliot was laughing his guts out, Theo Rose stalked a boy who got the key to Elliot’s room. And once they reached a deserted area, he suddenly appeared in front of the boy.
“You have the key to the 27th room of the boy’s dormitory?” He said, stopping the boy from taking another step.
The teenager raised his head to look at the person who stopped him arrogantly, but his expression melted in an instant as he realized that it is Theo, the second strongest teenage magician.
“Ah, yes. Why do you ask?” Rodriguez said in an amiable voice.
“Hand it over to me,” Theo said, looking at him seriously.
“What?” Rodriguez’s eyebrows raised as he looked at Theo in bewilderment.
“I said give it to me.”
“Although you performed well in the entrance examination and might very well be the second strongest teenage magician, it doesn’t mean you can take things away from others,” Rodriguez remarked, walking away from Theo.
“Stupid.”
Just as Theo said those words, Rodriguez froze where he stood, feeling as if a mystical force has immobilized him.
“What did you do to me? Why can’t I move my body?” He uttered in shock and fear.
Theo didn’t say anything and just snatched the key from Rodriguez’s pockets before looking into his eyes.
“Forget everything that happened in the last few minutes,” Theo said, looking straight into Rodriguez’s eyes.
The victim of Theo’s mystical ability, Rodriguez bobbed his head, a dazed look on his face
Theo disappeared after putting his key inside Rodriguez’s pocket.
A few moments later, the dazed look left Rodriguez’s face and he blinked his eyes in confusion.
“What am I doing here?” He said, looking around.
It didn’t take more than a few seconds for him to remember what he was trying to do.
“Oh, yeah! I was heading to my assigned living quarter.” Rodriguez went to the dorm, unaware of the fact that Theo has messed with his memories.
